We proudly partner with the people who keep forests healthy, mushrooms thriving, and wild spaces protected. More than just suppliers and partners - they're stewards of the ingredients and landscapes that inspire Wander State.

Preserving America's Natural Heritage

Since 1916, the National Park Service has protected 85 million acres of mountains, deserts, coastlines, canyons, forests, and everything in between. With the help of volunteers and partners, they keep these landscapes healthy, open, and ready for the next hike, picnic, road trip, or wander.

Protecting the Places We Explore

The gift: 85 million acres of preserved wilderness to explore for a lifetime.

The Philosophy Behind the Partnerships

Wander State exists because of the friends who care for the places we love. Monterey Nutra cultivates our functional mushrooms with scientific precision and sustainable practices. Forest Farmers taps maple water from sustainably managed forests while keeping forests thriving. WTA and the National Park Service maintain the trails and parks where we connect and recharge.

Every time you enjoy Wander State — on a hike, at a party, reading a book, or in everyday motion — you're tapping into a network of people and places built around care.

Monterey Nutra Mushroom Cultivation

Mushrooms, Sustainably Grown

Monterey Nutra grows functional mushrooms with an unwavering commitment to sustainability — from solar-powered farms to renewable substrates that divert waste from landfills.

Their mushrooms grow on renewable compost, hardwood sawdust, and organic sorghum, using minimal water and locally sourced materials to reduce food miles. Solar-powered facilities keep energy use low. After harvest, "spent" substrate becomes nutrient-rich soil amendment for farms and landscaping. Every batch is third-party tested, and every step honors both scientific rigor and environmental responsibility.

Their mushrooms bring the goodness — we keep it crisp and refreshing.

Maple Water From Thriving Forests

Forest Farmers sustainably harvests the essence of New York and Vermont's diverse forests — over 9,000 acres in the Adirondack and Green Mountains that are home to some of the most beautiful and productive forests in the world.

Their approach focuses on maintaining diverse forests with a wide variety of tree species, not just maples. This biodiversity creates healthier ecosystems and more supportive habitats for wild inhabitants. The forests produce certified organic saps, syrups, and sugar, while also providing foraging opportunities for wild leeks, fiddleheads, berries, and mushrooms. It's forest farming that honors the land's natural diversity.

When your sweetener comes straight from the forest, you don't need much else.

Protecting the Trails We Wander

Since 1966, Washington Trails Association has mobilized hikers and outdoor lovers to explore, steward, and champion trails and public lands. They believe that exploring nature is good for people's hearts, minds, and bodies — and that people will protect the places they love to hike.

WTA created Washington's largest volunteer trail maintenance program and has reformed legislation to allocate trail funding. They maintain over 3,000 miles of trails and are committed to reducing barriers to access, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to connect with Washington's natural wonders. Every can you drink supports their work protecting the trails and wild places where we all find ourselves again.

Their work keeps the trails open; our teas keep you going.

Preserving the Parks That Inspire Us

Since 1916, the National Park Service has preserved the natural and cultural resources of our national parks for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of current and future generations. With help from volunteers and partners, they safeguard these special places for more than 318 million visitors each year.

The NPS protects 85 million acres of wilderness while cooperating with communities, nonprofits, and businesses to extend the benefits of conservation and outdoor recreation. Their mission goes beyond tourism — they help preserve local history, celebrate heritage, and create close-to-home opportunities for families to get outside and connect with nature. We support their work because these protected spaces are essential for everyone.

They protect the places worth exploring; we make the teas worth packing.
